Who We Are
At The Mission Church, our purpose is clear: to make disciples of Jesus Christ. While there are many good things a church can do, we are focused on what we must do—help people follow Jesus with their whole lives. From the very beginning, our worship services have been filled with joy and anticipation. We launched on October 20, 2024, at the Market Street Conservatory, where hundreds gathered—so many that some were left standing outside—to worship together for the first time. That day set the tone for what we continue to experience each week: a growing community of people passionate about knowing and following Jesus.
Church planting is not for everyone, and it is not for every season of life. Starting from scratch means no established teams, no programs—just people coming together to worship God and bless one another. And yet, that is the very essence of the church! Week after week, we are building something new, not for the sake of activity, but to help people follow Jesus. The Mission Church isn’t a place to simply attend—it’s a place to fully participate. Whether you are new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, you are invited to be part of this journey with us.
Our expectation for what God has in store continues to grow, but we will never forget His grace and favor in these humble beginnings. We look forward to finding or building a permanent facility, and we are excited about all that the future holds. But more than anything, we remain committed to our mission—making disciples of Jesus.
